GAREY VINEYARD
Garey Vineyards
The Garey Vineyard was planted in 1998 by the Robert Mondavi Winery. This 150 acre vineyard is in the heart of the Santa Maria Valley located on Orcutt Garey Road above the town of Garey. The terroir is one of gently sloping hills with sandy loam soils. The vineyard is planted to Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. The cool, foggy climate of the Santa Maria Valley is perfect for these Burgundy varieties. The fruit for the Brophy Clark Pinot Noir is a combination of Dijon clones 115, 667 and Pommard. The Chardonnay is clone 4.

CAMP 4 VINEYARD
Camp 4 Vineyards
Camp 4 Vineyard was planted in 2000 by Fess Parker in the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley. This 220 acre vineyard on Baseline Road has the ideal microclimate for the slow ripening Rhone varieties such as Syrah, Grenache and Viognier. The Syrah and some of the Grenache for the Brophy Clark GSM come from this vineyard. The warm days tempered by morning fog and cool late afternoon breezes are ideal for a slow fruit ripening and development of the dark rich color and aroma of these varieties.
